About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Painter to join a commercial/industrial project team in Southampton starting Monday, 20Th January 2025. The successful candidate will have previous experience working on commercial or industrial projects and will be required to carry out high-quality painting work across various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary
- Apply paint and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and various surfaces
- Work efficiently and safely within industrial/commercial settings
- Ensure that all painting work meets the required quality standards and specifications
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE
- Manage and maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members
- Complete projects within the designated timelines and budgets
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial/industrial painting
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Reliable and punctual with a positive work attitude
Own tools and transport are desirable but not essential
